On June 29, following the "Agri-Food Sector in Poland and Portugal" seminar organized by the Department of Trade and Investment Promotion of the Polish Embassy in Lisbon, in cooperation with the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PAED) and the Portuguese branch of the European Enterprise Europe Network - IAPMEI (Institute for the Support for Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation), a session of bilateral meetings took place between Polish and Portuguese companies in the agri-food sector.
The goal of the matchmaking event under the initiative of promoting the Polish agri-food sector was to enable Polish entrepreneurs participating in the mission to establish trade contacts with Portuguese companies invited by IAPMEI.
On the Polish side, the meetings were attended by representatives of 14 companies, representing the following industries:meat and cured meat, sweets and pastries, alcohol, crispbread, pasta, cereals, cotton candy, distribution of FMCG products.One of the abovementioned companies, ZPM Łukosz, was represented by Edward Łukosz, CEO, and Joanna Szczypka-Grzegorzek, Director of Planning and Sales.
In total, during the nearly day-long matchmaking session, 70 bilateral meetings were held, which in the opinion of Polish and Portuguese companies proved to be interesting and hold prospects for future cooperation.
